This is my first “HD” TV. After doing a fair amount of research, I decided to go with this one (To my surprise, I was expecting to end up with a more well known brand name for best value).

I purchased this TV mainly to play video games on. I play Xbox 360 games (Mainly FPS and Fighting Games) and picture quality along with having no “motion blur” was very important to me. The 120hz is more then enough to eliminate any blur you may be afraid of, the TV displays fast moving action perfectly.

The picture is also perfect, I feel like I have an advantage over others online that don’t have a TV as nice, I can see anyone from across the map - I love this TV.

I also watch a good amount of movies on this TV, and the pre-installed “Cinema” settings are WONDERFUL! The screen looks exactly like a movie screen (Just not as big). The true motion, the frame rate change, everything just “works” to create a great movie experience.

I tend to hook up my laptop to this TV via HDMI a good amount to watch TV shows/movies/anime and I’ve had no problem with that either. This TV functions great as a second monitor for a PC.

Although I barely use the sound, When I do it sounds great. Of course it can’t compare to a sound system, but as far as TV speakers go they are the best I’ve come across. The TV is fairly light (nice when moving it) and has a nice little device in the back for organizing your cables. It looks great, performs great, is well built - I’m very happy with this purchase. At this price, this TV is a must buy if you are looking for a 32 inch HD TV.

This monitor is awesome! Just finished playing Bethesda’s Fallout 3 with all add-ons and am starting Borderlands. Smooth motion, no blurring - even in the most intense firefights! I bought this television for my Mother, for Mother’s Day. I have a ViewSonic computer monitor, but have never seen one of their t.v.s … I am really impressed and expect the t.v.s to be in 3-D soon. It is very thin and light weight. Very simple to connect to cable and/or satellite connections. The colors are brillant and the clarity is excellant. I have a 42″ 1080i JVC television and it pales in comparision to the ViewSonic 1080p. Rather continuing to praise this t.v., I will simply say the only cons are the lack of cables and the remote. I expected a t.v. of this kind would have a variety of cables either HDMI or the Y-Pr-Pb cables. You get a power cord and thats it. Of course, it comes with a base, but the t.v. can also be mounted to a wall. Again though, you will have to purchase the wall bracket mounting hardware. The remote is also a little odd, when holding it correctly it feels and looks like it is upside-down. The only thing that surprized me is that it arrived on a semi-tractor trailer rig. Overall, I would purchase one of these again, especially for a bedroom or for playing a PS3 or Xbox 360. It made my Mother very happy, so I could not have asked for anything better.

I love this TV so far. The picture is incredible. I use the TV in my bedroom to watch movies and television shows at night so I appreciate the dark blacks that Sharp is so good at. Some people complain about disk load time for the blu-ray player, but I see no substantial issues with its load time.

The construction seems very solid. The base is made of a solid metal so it doesn’t seem easily breakable like the other TV I have with the base made out of plastic. The TV swivels too…pretty cool feature.

The built-in blu-ray was big for my wife for aesthetic reasons. Since it just sits atop the dresser, it would have been difficult to put a DVD player anywhere else, so this TV does the job well for that. No complaints here. I was a little worried about how “blue” that streak was at the bottom of the TV. It isn’t bad at all…hardly noticeable. All you can see is a small blue shimmer. The pictures on this website make it look like its painted blue…looks much sleeker in real life.

There are plenty of inputs for anything you want to hook up to this bad-boy. There are also a good amount of options for customization. I love one feature of your “favorite channels.” It has 4 buttons, but also has 4 toggles for each of those buttons, so you can have a total of 16 favs. It’s also easy to toggle between picture brightness and picture aspect with just a click of the button.

I definitely recommend.

EDIT: I was wrong…the blu ray player takes foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever to load! It doesn’t take as long for regular DVDs but BluRays take about 5 minutes! There NEEDS to be an update for this.

I have not had it long, but I will say that once you adjust the picture/calibrate this lcd combo, you will see that it really does a good job. There are better displays…but you will pay more for them. Very good tv for the price. The blu-ray player is built-in and processes data better than a standalone that I tried which has the HVQ chip. If you can get the price down, then take it.

When looking for a new TV to replace a 10 year old Sony Wega in my bedroom, I initially was very interested in the 32EX308 which is 720p but has internet connectivity and comes with a wireless adapter all for about 1 to 9 (Dell, Newegg). However, I came across a deal for the 32EX500 which I could not pass up - 0 less than most places (including Amazon) with free shipping and no tax.

I really like this set, the picture is brilliant and the simplicity of design is very stylish. I compared this set side by side with a Vizio that was priced only cheaper. All I can say is, the Vizio looked like it should have been 0 cheaper.

Three things would have made this a better set for me - if it had internet connectivity, if it had a clock/wake-up function and if it came in a 37″ model (the max my entertainment center will accommodate).

I am seriously considering buying the 40″ model, mounting it on the wall and giving my kids the 32″.

This TV came to us directly from FAVI in an ordinary cardboard box. While unpacking we found a small black velvet bag that contained the TV’s accessories. This was a nice touch. The TV’s design is sleek, yet rather conservative at the same time. The corners are rounded, giving it that sleek appearance. The FAVI logo is prominently displayed just under the screen. Below the logo is the indicator LED, and the remote sensor. The speaker grilles are hidden on the bottom. The next thing that caught our eye was the sheer number of A/V inputs on the back of this TV. It comes with three HDMI ports, a VGA port, and two sets of Component video jacks, each with their own set of audio jacks. It also has a standard S-video port, and two sets of ordinary A/V jacks. The VGA port allows this TV to become a giant wide screen computer monitor with built in speakers. To our disappointment, there are no inputs on the front or side.

RATINGS:

-USER MANUAL: 8/10. The manual did a pretty good job of explaining everything this TV is capable of, except when describing the remote control function.

-DISPLAY: 10/10. The picture quality is best we’ve tested in 32 inch 1080p class. Testing was completed in both standard definition and high definition. A Blu-Ray disc was used in our video demonstration.

-REMOTE: 7/10. No indicator LED was disappointing. Other then that it’s just a standard remote control. A universal remote can be programmed to work with this TV. A code was found in less than a minute with our remote’s auto search function.

-SOUND: 7/10. The built in speakers are adequate but not outstanding.

-TV MODE: 9/10. Standard definition and high definition video look good. The TV changes channels quickly enough for channel surfing.

-INPUTS: 7/10. There’s only one S-video port, and while this TV does have three HDMI ports, they’re spaced a bit too close together. You can hook up three HDMI cables at once, but it’s a tight fit. There are no inputs on the front of this TV.

-VALUE: 9/10. Lowest priced 32 inch/1080p model we tested.

-OVERALL: 9/10. Highly Recommended

My parents wanted a white tv and I helped them find this tv on amazon. They absolutely love the color of the TV and the quality of the image and sound. They were very happy with it. It was super easy to set up to the cable too! The Sony TV with does seem to have better image quality but that cost much more and the difference is not huge. I would definitely buy this tv again.

The quality of this TV is just as impressive as the appearance. I purchased an HDMI cable for about and the TV now shows at 1080p. The TV is incredibly clear and the sound is great too. This TV seems like a great buy at less than 0.

I have one complaint regarding the TV, which may change as the obscure (or new?) brand grows in popularity. My cable company does not yet have codes for a Favi TV so at this point I am not able to connect my TV to my cable remote. Therefore, currently I must use a remote control for the cable, another for the TV and yet another for a DVD player.

I would still highly recommend this TV to anyone who values the combination of attractive, high quality and affordable products.
