Philips SCP010 Indoor Passive UHF/VHF/FM/HDTV Antenna Review

This simple passive (not amplified) antenna is built solid. The base is not sufficient that only the tip weighted and rabbit ears are stiff enough to remove them without their flop over.
My only complaint is that the antenna uses a screw on the lid is hard to get on television. When connecting I wish I had three hands: one to hold the cable, to stabilize the TV and turn on the nipple on TV. If we had used a slipinstead of a plug-in screw cap, then both hands would be enough. So I think the pin sheet was wrong because it took several tries before you start screwing.
My wife and I bought this antenna for a new flat screen TV, the replacement of a tube TV 10 years ago. Rabbit Ears (and the Butterfly), old TV antenna on the cheap has worked with the digital converter that we purchased in order. (We had thought that the maintenance of old televisionsseveral years, but decided to go for a 1080p flat screen).
Like the old antenna was working on, I thought it would be a new antenna works well, but I was wrong. This, in my opinion, no influence, why do so many things that can affect signal strength. After moving the antenna for the new house, I think the old antenna worked better, because he was sitting on top of the old TV, and the new antenna is sitting a few meters deep, near the new television. If Inew antenna and raise a few meters, I have much better reception on a few channels that are troublesome.
Here are some suggestions if you have this antenna are:
Use a. "Org" o. "Gov" website to provide information on satellite provides. For best results, provide the exact address of your website, including the antenna height above the street level. You're probably not having much luck with a cheap passive antenna, unless the site offers a small multidirectionalType of antenna for all the channels that are of interest to you, if you want to choose to direct your antenna and some sites you can use a map that shows the direction that your TV broadcast multiple channels (print, although you might get a signal reflected from a different direction).
If you buy the antenna and the "almost" works, you can try and fight. to get the rabbit ears antenna to the VHF channels. If the ears so that both signals from allDirections. When they are removed in a "V" then your best receiver right in front of and behind the "V". Similarly, if the "O" antenna for UHF channels. If directly in the "O", then your best reception in front of you and behind you.
