Samsung TV5.4 SAX Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna Review


I bought this antenna to receive local off-air HDTV programs. Before, we had access to broadcast in HD via DirecTV. However, there are a number of off-air HDTV broadcasts (including Fox and PBS offers more) that are not on DirecTV.

After verifying that our house was 15 km from the site to expose all these channels (website, http://www.antennaweb.org, information on signal strength, etc.), I thought I felt aEnhanced antenna. I should also note that we will see the transmitting antenna on our house.

The Samsung was easy to my HDTV antenna, and then took a 1-2 minutes for the receiver to recognize the various off-air digital stations. The image is excellent, I'm pretty happy w / Samsung antenna. (In a signal strength test, all stations w / in 15 miles, compared to 100% of force, that two more stations a few milesat least 93%).

This is very well built and the antenna works very well. I have it on my side-mounted fixed antenna (no rotor). I like the built-in processors, that is very robust. The multi-mount-point is a great feature, since I live in a very windy. I do not want this antenna mounted on a center of the rotor, although, as would be the total weight) on the one side of the rotor (bad for the storage of the rotor. But there are other models that didPurpose. Grand Prix, again from Amazon!
