I live in an apartment in the center between San Francisco and San Jose, where the largest emitters 31 miles in the opposite direction. I first tried the RCA ANT525 amplified antenna. It took a lot of channels, but I had to raise the gain maximum. The problem is that it increases to a fault, the signal quality is unstable and very different, for example, if someone moves through space. I had previously been reinforced with an indoor antennna Winegard. The antenna works well, but I was constantly moving around the antenna. I bought this antenna and it worked great. I get all the channels I wanted for a PBS channel, I would have my antenna in a way that I lost the receipt along with other channels. One person said that everything you do, this antenna is further away, and you get another. This is not true. Are about 5Miles to collect about 40 stations and 35 miles by about 2 I need to pick up. I pointed my antenna to the most distant and no longer receive the stations that were close. wished I had my antenna in an intermediate, most of the channels I receive. I get every single large network, and then some, but I have a PBS station that I really wanted. Overall not bad. I am about to receive a total of 51 programs in San FranciscoArea.

Channel Master CM 3679 Ultra Hi-Crossfire HDTV Antenna Review

Overall I'm satisfied with the structure and performance of this antenna. There seems to be at least as good antennas available locally I've seen, and satisfies my performance details and price range built. I was very pleased to see that it is produced in the United States.

The problem is that none of the instructions are specific to the antenna. The first page is generic Crossfire for all antennas. The second page, while useful for the correct assembly of the spindleDipole, continues to disregard this specific antenna. This is important because it is a good guide, where to mount the transformer and matching cable. The images do not correspond to the antenna. What that shows, suggests mounting the transformer on the side of the arm with a cable feed almost touching the mains, and the other touching the boom. This is incorrect. A clip for mounting on steel is included for the corresponding processor to create the boom, but not enough distancefit between the connection point and the next item for him. I decided that the best way to mount to mount the transformer is not at all, but simply let hang from the corner terminals mounted on the bottom down by tightening is on the corner reflector coaxial similar to Boom as Figure 8 on the instruction page first. This clip, oddly, is not included. I ended up with the antenna from the back and reworkInstalling the transformer case, because my first attempt resulted in a weak output signal.

In general, it seems that CM 3679 is a new or updated design, are not fully thought through. That is to say, I'm just now trying received two beautiful digital channels that my old antenna would not provide.

Channel Master 4228HD Long-Range Outdoor Rooftop HDTV Antenna Review

This is my fourth antenna I have tried over the years. The first was a medium range Yagi style I have now and for years has been, and then a large Philips MANT940 when I finally decided to dump Comcast. Although Philips has been cited as a "gain" antenna high, I soon learned that it was a marketing ploy. It was not even able to pull in a station. Then I tried my house 4 Bay bow-tie antenna. It worked so well, as the Yagi. Frustrated, I finally someone Reasearchgave me the 4228. The antenna 4 .228 is probably the best on the market. It must have been 4228 or yagi much longer (about 8 meters long), but I heard the yagi would be uglier and more difficult to assemble.

After [...], I'm 24 miles from the towers of large networks, but unfortunately I have many trees and a large hill in the road. So I was told that this was because my reception has always been spotty, with smaller antennas. Well, I must admit that the 4228 reached or exceededmy expectations. Far exceeds all other antennas I've used. I have split the satellite feed to three TV. I can, in all major markets on two Pull the TV, but HDTV standalone Motorola not as powerful as television is more recent. I say this because it is not always the antenna, but it could be the recipient.

I recommend this antenna to anyone who is more than say, has 20 miles of towers and / or difficulty he had with other antennas. Again,This antenna is probably the strongest receiving antenna sold. It may be ugly, but effective. In other antennas I have just moved to the major networks, but with all that in this strong and sometimes I can even pull a few stops away from the Providence market for more than 50 miles away.

My house is located at 13 miles north from Chicago TX stations in downtown.
Several big trees are blocking the line of sight from the right front of my antenna on chimney.
At first,I tried with an antenna Mod# DB4 due to its small size, but it gave me frequent dropping signals out on most channels I could get and no VHF high channels(CH2,CH7).
Therefore, I chose this antenna(Mod# CM-2020) which has strong directional and gain on UHF and high VHF channels. This antenna works perfectly for me except snowy of CH41(analog signal), even though its very long antenna.

Channel Master 4040 Indoor HDTV antenna Review

This antenna is a log deck similar to a regular "Silver Sensor". With every situation is different antennas are, I have only my experience with the DTV signal and the Channel Master 4040 antenna in combination with a Digital Stream DTV box with coaxial connector. E 'for urban areas, which suits my requirements recommended. I thought it was like being higher up in the room, as you can and get advice on a stable surface (I would'nt that everyone will want to stick him on TV, you could do with rabbit ears). IAfter adjusting the angle and direction of the antenna for a while 'to learn what works best. Although this UHF antenna is given, I have all the transmission channels in my area, with from 4 to 66 A total of about 20 channels in all. The image quality is better than I had with cable, and better than before the transition to DTV. The truth is, an antenna and a receiver can receive HDTV broadcasts for free. Eventhough my box is only 480i (which is technically "Standard Definition") and I useTrinitron picture tube, the image on HD broadcasts and is comparable and sometimes more of a DVD to appear for HDTV BluRay hardcore and people that might not be much, but the results I have really been above my expectations. I'm still a little antenna 'to move to optimize certain channels, but all I can come to 80 or higher received signal strength based on the signal came out of my window DTV w / most of them 90 or more. This is a good way to find the sweet spot, move theBox DTV display of signal strength meters on the screen and move around while viewing the meter of the antenna while I took the signal strength of less than 50 (low)), and 80 or more (well some people report splotching frequent interruptions and with DTV I only had small problems that, if it is very windy and raining at times (btw, that can happen even with the satellite service or cable), but most times the picture was rock solid. A notice, shoots for ' assembly of the base of the antennais not the most common, if not-snap and apply a little 'glue will fix my attention only complaint about this antenna. This thing is a good product and a generally favorable reviews, there was a better picture than cable and costs about the same as a week or two of cable services. This is a good option for people who do not, for whatever reason, you can use an external antenna.
