Winegard AP-8275 Preamplifier High Gain Low Noise 28dB UHF 29dB VHF for HDTV Antennas Review

I live about 70 miles from Chicago and this amp has a DB8 antenna (in my attic) I get ABC, NBC, CW, PBS, FOX, UPN, ION, Telemundo, Univision, and a few others, all in HD, with over 85 percent signal strength. No CBS tho. This has the local South Bend (with local CBS), I get between 38-42 digital channels. Most HD.
When I installed this amp Winegard, I lost a couple of local TV stations had a total of only 12, some with low signal strength. It 'was disappointing becauseI read that happened to another reviewer who rated the amp a star. But I have all my self-RG6 Twist-on connectors, some have not been installed in contact with the wires of the coax braid. I cut with the tool crimper … daaah! I love this twist-on connectors because they can use over and over again.
The manual says to install additional amplifier in-line is fixed for each recipient when a splitter is used. But I did not need. The antenna and amplifier are installed in myTop floor (2 storey house) up to four times connected Splitter 5000-1000 MHz, then the distributor is a journey of over 20 feet in my bedroom Panasonic LCD RG6 coax cable, and about 35 "on the LCD Samsung in my family room (the Samsung receives some channels more than the Panasonic)
I also have two digital converter boxes that Obama paid current. I love them and are then completed with five star reviews.

Antennacraft MXU59 UHF/HDTV Antenna for Extreme Deep Fringe Areas – 100 Boom/20 Width/38V Height (1 Each) Review

The MXU59 by Antennacraft antenna is very underrated. Last week, I have a comparison test between the antenna and the U8000 Antennacraft and Channel Master 4228 (first HD model). Each was set in the same place in the same way at the same height. To my surprise, the MXU59 slightly better than the other two antennas in signal gain and multipath distortion. Of the ten received signals that I was from Kansas City (all about 35 to 40 more miles from my house) is only a 41 CHsomewhat disappointing. While the signal strength is decent, the picture has more to break the solid rock MXU59 while the other two antennas. But aside from the fact that the antenna is MXU59 better. The other two antennas were the weakest signal strength readings on each channel and multipath problems on at least a few different channels. They were only thinking about the 41st Ch MXU59 Next I will mount a roof to see how this device when something small anda clearer signal.

On the roof, works better than I expected. When combined with the Channel Master or Winegard pre-amp, I have a solid signal strength 70-90% for each channel in Kansas City. And if it is in the direction Sedlar, MO is on the PBS station on CH-locks. 15 some 80 miles away! None of the other two antennas that worked well when they were together in the same place on the roof and thencoupled with the preamplifier.

I had previously been reinforced with an indoor antennna Winegard. The antenna works well, but I was constantly moving around the antenna. I bought this antenna and it worked great. I get all the channels I wanted for a PBS channel, I would have my antenna in a way that I lost the receipt along with other channels. One person said that everything you do, this antenna is further away, and you get another. This is not true. Are about 5Miles to collect about 40 stations and 35 miles by about 2 I need to pick up. I pointed my antenna to the most distant and no longer receive the stations that were close. wished I had my antenna in an intermediate, most of the channels I receive. I get every single large network, and then some, but I have a PBS station that I really wanted. Overall not bad. I am about to receive a total of 51 programs in San FranciscoArea.
