I have crystal clear pictures and sound on 30 channels, many channels that I did not know they were also transmitted through the air until now. I thought some of our local cable channels, were strictly on cable, but I was wrong. I bought this on a whim last night at Walmart for $ 15, because I liked the idea of something thin and flat, like the rabbit ears I both HDTV. Put a decent reception with the standard non-amplified rabbit ears. The others bad reception, no matter what I tried. Imagine my surprise when I connected that it is up to TV and continued to go from one channel perfectly on all local channels. There are rather large reservation to get a great reception with this, heto sit flat on the top of the TV. I have to position, as they tried to explain, but that did not work. I tried it with a flat base on TV, but that came to disturbances. On the top of the TV works great, though.

I moved into a large new house last year and needed an off-air on my satellite dish to complement and provide shelter for my FM stereo receiver. (It is missing or to be allowed) to install an external antenna on my roof, I took the big old antenna channel that was in my old house in the attic of my new home and shoe horned into place. The old antenna works great in my old home (five miles away), but was completely useless in my new loft. So I began researchingAntennas. The way in which the local TV channel Channel 15-50 miles away, all in a span of about 90 degrees contained between the north and the south-east of my house.

For an internal antenna, this thing is ugly! Surely it is hard to find a thorn in the eye and a space to put in your house, where he would look decent. Ideally, one would say your big CRT TV, but since we are all LCDs and plasmas these days, does not work. Compared to my antenna RCA, things seem ridiculous.

However, let me turn to how this antenna in a residential complex. The verdict? Just like any other internal antenna. So if youThere is a hope to contribute to magically great if the antennas first do not understand, I have my doubts. But if you still meet this risk, my customers.

One redeeming quality, and the reason I give it 4 stars is that I was in a position like this on my balcony thanks to mini-coaxial cable came with it made. The cable is thin enough that I do with my door, could not function without the need for any holes. I would just purchased an external antenna to begin. If I did,firing signal! Now I can get all the UHF channels loud and clear! However, I can not understand any VHF signals whatsoever. But I am happy with him, because I can not receive HD programs, clean and should not look at the antenna in my apartment. As soon as the weather has its way, with this antenna, I'll buy a proper external antenna and never with an indoor unit again.

Moral of this story, save much time and frustration and get a external antenna, ifPossibly.
