Philips 42PFL3704D/F7 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review

The TV was stolen from Wal-Mart for $ 498. I was skeptical about buying this at first because I saw so many terrible display HDTV to standard definition. However, we jump, and after docking, I can say I'm impressed. SD looks good, not block, pixel, as I see with most other HDTV and that is also used by setting the width, so the image fills the entire screen.

The TV speakers are not the greatest, but runs through the sound of our stereo. My only gripe that the audio output RCA jacks are not variable, but only use a universal remote control, along with our stereo and the volume switch.

IMO, surpassing many other TVLCD I've seen, including Sony and LG. We do not need all the bells and whistles – just a big display and with this TV, which is what we have.

Philips customer service is excellent. As soon as we unpacked the TV and turned on him, we realized the remote control does not work. A new remote control was immediately sent no questions asked, and it came in a week. This may have been a minor inconvenience, but we had another remote control Philips who worked with him.

I recommend this TV -It 'absolutely the most bang for the buck are everywhere!

Philips 42PFL3603D/27 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review

I am very happy with this TV.
it says a lot of sites that this TV has a response time of 8 milliseconds, but if you look in the manual says its 5ms.

I think this is just great for SDTV TV. I work for the cable company, and I said, I have a lot of expensive / cheap, that price range of television, where deadlines seem crap seen standard def programming. its not really something to watch, after X amount of dollars for a new TV. That brings outvery good.
honestly be spectacular, but takes it pretty well. (And I'm sitting in my bedroom 5ft or less distant from him)

I also have an upscaling DVD player (Samsung) works very well with him. But not all the films that get to see adopted in 1080p. I put AC / DC Live at Donington today, and it seems a bit 'worse than my cable card. but that's okay with me. I found in Batman: The Dark Knight. It looks remarkably like this F-Ing. I also encountered a couple of other movies like Kung-FuPanda and The Simpsons Movie: they look great too.

As for games, I really only played GTA: IV at once and I played with the AV cable instead of HDMI / component (using 360), and it seemed ok. looked better on my SD CRT TV that on this TV, but I hope to get the HD cables for my 360 soon.
if they can upgrade later, I will.

the model, I asked for the business (which was the TV, I really wanted-the 42PFL7403D) is a connection to a PC that I had on my back, 120Hz, 2 ms response time wanted, and 30W audio output. which is what I really wanted for sports, action movies, andHigh-speed games.

many white (large) spots appear randomly. I counted about 39 pixels per mixed. come and appears to occur more when I watch HD. After about 20 minutes, unable to walk normally again and again after 20 minutes. very annoying, I'm back this TV and get a Samsung.

I'm not disappointed . TV is attractive and high quality materials. view is great from every angle. Both the SD and HD TV photo is amazing.

The TV also has a fantastic image Stretchng feature that the aspect ratio automatically depending on what you're in shape, the image is neverlooks out of proportion, very nice.

In response to other reviews, I have not found any problems with the image, the sound is nothing great, but I have sound through my stereo receiver, then do not use the TV speakers. the TV remote control turns off the TV completely, Standby is not a problem. The light sensor adjusts the image to the light in the room, very nice feature. I upgraded the firmware via the USB port, no problem.

Two of my friends pay twice as much for theirSony and I feel good. Highly recommended.
