The first wave of the new 2010 televisions have just been released and the first of the new models to be released in the UK is the Panasonic G20 series which comprises of the 42” tx-p42g20, a 46″ and 50″ screen versions are also available. The new Panasonic TX-P42G20 incorporates the new advanced NeoPDP technology, which is there to give the very best in picture quality, the new tx-p42g20 plasma boasts higher efficiency, better image quality and lower power consumption than last years g10 series.

The new Panasonic tx-p42g20 incorporates the new developed panels that use a new filter and discharge gas, which gives you improved phosphor and redesigned cell structure which means a fantastic picture quality that you would expect to find on a television that is three times the price.

One of the things that the new NeoPDP technology does is to dramatically improve the basic image quality of television programmes and movies by boosting the contrast to provide a much smoother motion of images thanks to the innovative 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology. In addition, high-speed drive technology drastically cuts the time it takes for the light emission to reach peak brightness, and a new phosphor shortens afterglow time by about one-thirds, thus making NeoPDP ideal for sports, movies and gaming.

One of the other features that you will see about the new g20 series over the g10 is that the g20 series is THX certified meaning that you can guarantee the level of picture and sound quality that you now get with the txp42g20 television. The THX certificate was only available on last year v10 series and this is a huge boost for the new g20 series of televisions. To receive THX certification televisions must follow a strict control to determine, for example, if the same level of brightness and colour are maintained in any area of vision or if the black levels meet the criteria of quality. The TXP42G20b meets all thanks to the THX Certified Display Program.

Another boost for this television is the fact that Panasonic have joined up with Pioneer technicians and have added elements of Pioneers award winning Kuro technology to make the blacks even blacker than ever before for less than half the price the the kuro costs.

Many high-end plasma TVs in the market produce superb video/image playback and unfortunately, are also pretty expensive. The truth is, the difference in video playback quality is not really obvious for ordinary folks like you and me so it may make sense to get a cheaper model.

The Panasonic VIERA X1 TC-P42X1 42-inch plasma TV is a plasma model that is worth considering if you are deciding to get a new hdtv on a budget. For one, it is well known that plasma TVs produce much better video quality compare to LCD hdtvs in many ways. The black-levels are usually much deeper and the video playback has more of a cinema ‘feel’.

The Panasonic VIERA X1 TC-P42X1 42-inch plasma TV is capable of playing HD videos at 720p. It may not be a full 1080p hdtv.

Despite its price, Panasonic has striven to provide the best value possible for your money spent. The screen surface has an anti-reflection layer to minimize glare from background lights. It also has a 2′000′000:1 contrast ratio to produce very realistic images on the screen. Connectivity wise, it has a set of standard connectors that includes a SD memory card slot and 3 hdmi inputs. In our tests, the Panasonic VIERA X1 TC-P42X1 42-inch plasma TV performed very well in playing Blu-ray and DVD movies. The hidden speakers produce a total of 20W of audio output, which is more than enough to fill a large room. All in all, for just $585, the Panasonic VIERA X1 TC-P42X1 is one of the best HDTV models in the market for the price.

In the search for great deals on Panasonic LCD hdtv? It 's always shopping season of high quality electronics and people around the world at very reasonable prices on these flat panel display research so read on to get to really get to the offers little good.

LCD or Plasma?

If you have an old CRT TV that looks like a box of ugly and weighs about 500 kg, it is probably time to move to a better television. Imagine how much more fun itYou will experience your favorite game or a good quality movies on a screen. LCD and plasma displays are the current leaders in the field but what is hdtv better? Both have their advantages and disadvantages as they can investigate.

Plasma

In a plasma is not less than 42-inch diagonal screen, so if you need something for the bedroom or a small room with a view exists, plasma could not work for you. Plasma series spent a little 'heat from the vents on theSide. This could contribute to overheating, if you plan to close TV in a closet. Finally, plasma TV is still susceptible to burn-in effects, which can occur during prolonged stationary objects on the screen.

LCD

LCD TVs are perfect for small closets, bedrooms and kitchens, because they come in all sizes from 19 "to 60". They are very efficient and are illuminated. If you are looking for something that is compatible with PCthen a flat-screen LCD monitor is the choice for you. But the most interesting aspect is the price. LCD TVs are still cheaper than a plasma TV and a higher resolution than comparably sized plasma.

Both technologies have their advantages and disadvantages, but with all search for the best experience high-definition LCD is by far the most of the decisions of the range 1080p than plasma. If you're looking to start your home theater then a newLCD may be in your future.

Panasonic said it has too many dealers to make a list, but until the television is not renewed, and you buy from a reputable company in the United States to buy the warranty is valid. Many of the leading sellers of electronics and online retailers are entitled toand as long as it ensures that the Panasonic Viera plasma is 50 to buy from them again and not to make one of their third-party vendors, you should check your warranty to be valid.

IPS Alpha LED LCD Technology

The IPS Alpha panel, which is known for its wide viewing angle and excellent light transmittance, is now further enhanced with a bright, energy-saving LED backlight. Images do not fade when viewed from an angle, and contrast is higher than in previous IPS Alpha models in spite of using less power. The IPS Alpha LED LCD TV offers superb color rendering and also contributes to the display’s slim design.

LED Backlight

This system places LED backlights on the top and bottom of the panel, and sends the light toward the center of the screen. Using light guides and diffusers, it distributes the light over the entire panel to provide backlighting. There is no need to cover the entire rear surface with LEDs, so the panel module is thinner and a great deal of energy is saved.

3D Technology Checklist

This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use the checklist below to ensure you have everything you need. 3D viewing requires:

A Display
First, you’ll need a 3D-ready display–whether it’s a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.
A Source
Your display may be ready for 3D playback, but you’ll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.
3D Content
3D content–the actual entertainment, in other words–will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it’s a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.
3D Glasses
For now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered “active shutter” glasses, others polarized “passive” glasses. You’ll need one pair per viewer, and they’ll have to be compatible with your display, whether they’re the same brand, or a pair of “universal” glasses designed to work across brands.
HDMI Cable
To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you’ll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

(March 2011)

Step into the 3D World. The VIERA ST30 Series Full HD 3D Plasmas create an all new viewing experience by putting you inside the action and creating a new world of TV viewing realism.

TC-P47ST30
Infinite Black 2

In new VIERA models, contrast in brightly lit locations has been significantly improved. Enhancements to the panel and cells help reproduce images with smooth, natural gradation and deep, rich blacks even when viewed in bright surroundings. In movies, the true, deep blacks faithfully convey the intent of the filmmakers, adding power and realism to the viewing experience.

Full-time 1080 Moving Picture Resolution

VIERA plasma TVs have 1,080 lines of moving-picture resolution. Newly developed phosphors with minimal afterimages and a new motion compensating technology have made it possible to render faster-moving images with greater sharpness. This far surpasses the APDC moving-picture resolution measurement standard of 5 seconds by providing a moving-picture resolution of 1,080 lines at the 1.5-second level. And it shows the inherently clear motion of VIERA TVs in both 2D and 3D images.

3D 24p Cinema Smoother

VIERA incorporates technology that analyzes picture information in both the preceding and succeeding frames, and creates a precise supplementary frame between them. This suppresses the jerky effect seen in movies, so playback is smooth and natural-looking. The distinctive tonal qualities and atmosphere of the movie are preserved, and you enjoy extremely lifelike 3D images.

Full 3D
600Hz
Frame Sequential Technology

Panasonic uses Full-HD Frame Sequential technology to create its 3D images. Images recorded in 1920 x 1080 pixels for both the right-eye and the left-eye alternately flash on the screen at the ultra-high rate of 120 frames per second. When you view the screen through active-shutter glasses that open and close each lens in sync with the alternating images, you see breathtaking FULL HD 3D pictures with stunning power and realism.

Dynamic Contrast

By combining the highly light-transmissive IPS Alpha Panel and high-brightness backlight, Panasonic have attained both high contrast and low power consumption. Also, by detecting the contrasting parts of the scene, the backlight is adjusted to maintain a brightness that is optimal for each area. Deep blacks are reproduced with no fading. The contrast between the brilliance of diamond-like stars and the deep black of the night sky produces a sharp, crisp image.

600Hz Sub-field Drive

600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images. For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into dots. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce aftereffects.

3D Image Viewer

It’s easy to view 3D photos and movies you shot yourself on the big VIERA screen. After shooting with your 3D-compatible camera or camcorder, simply insert the SD card into the slot on a 3D-compatible VIERA TV. The viewing is incredible, with images so realistic it feels as though you’re right back in the moment. You’ll find that life’s special moments are even more memorable when you preserve them in 3D.

Long Panel Life, Up to 100,000 Hours

One important way consumers can protect the environment is by choosing high-quality products and taking care of them so they last for a long time. A high-quality VIERA HDTV can help. Thanks to a newly designed phosphor process and rear panel process, our plasma panels last for up to 100,000 hours before the brightness decreases by half. That’s more than 30 years of viewing 8 hours a day.

Environment-Friendly Panel

Mercury and Lead Free Plasma Display Panel Panasonic is committed to making our products more friendly to the environment.
