This is a great near the top of TV online to travelers on a budget. It has built a superb picture quality (1078p) and a Blu-Ray works well. The only complaint I have is that there are more "pause" between the channel change I used to have. Change the channel and count to three before the next channel comes into play, but beyond this reference, the less we like. The equivalent anywhere else you spend more than $ 300 – $ 400 more.

Magnavox 42MF438B/F7 42-Inch 1920 x 1080p LCD HDTV (Black) Review

Pros: 4 HDMI ports.
1080P
Adjustable aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9, automatic)
Beautiful pictures (sometimes too realistic!)
decent sound
Easy menu options but a lot of configuration options.
Simple remote control.
Cons: No Picture in Picture
Location of the connection cord.
I could not afford two.
Other Thoughts: This TV is an incredible value for the price I paid. I was shopping around for months (as I had a personal and financialsell my 1080th Vizio 42) had, but wanted to go with a 1080p, because I'm going to buy a BluRay player later this year.
I saw this in a dealer at a really good price and decided to go with him. I have no regrets except that I could not afford two.

The image is excellent. In the store, sat next to a Sony Bravia 40-inch, and the picture was bright and colorful. I'm at home and decided to see him on the Day of Judgement. WOW. Do not be too graphic, but it was aScene where they used a blood splatter effect. I felt like a rag and a bucket needed to obtain. I leave this.
My only main complaint is the location of mains. interferes with my installation. But I have a hole through the plate, so unscrupulous.

Magnavox 42MF439B/F7 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review

I purchased through another provider of on-line (for sale, plus an additional discount for paying the shipping costs) – the TV box was well packed with styrofoam and the box has a spanking (ala UPS) — but no damage to the device. I had the unit about 3 weeks and so far I have no complaints – I did not expect, all the fingers (folded, of course). Another noted expert, the remote base – very simple, but functional. I was a bit 'disappointed with some restrictions on entry, but there are a number ofAlternatives to tinker with that:) I'm not particularly impressed with the state – that "seem" nice, but does not feel safe, very stable – the base is made of plastic, a plastic material rather subtle feeling, at least for me. When the device is never moves, I suspect it is a set-up security will be, but if there is the possibility to move this thing regularly (for example, the inclusion of items in the back, where all input jacks are located), or perhaps had to reach from young children, I vote for the safety of thingsWall or whatever is there – just to be safe.

The picture is so clear, like all other 1080 I've seen, but I have not seen my unit right next to each other, so my point is that my personal observations. The sound is much better than me – I sometimes caught myself looking over my shoulder or something like that when I had the sounds "small" is very clear – the rustling of a tree branch that I think to see that I broke something or delete them:)

Sure, I wantedthe remote and the piece was a bit 'more "benefits" (eg, time on the display …. I wonder what I ever miss it?), but also to steal money, I can not complain enough to respect to regret my purchase. I'm not a big fan Magnovox – I am a Sony-aholic …. but, honestly, if not to say that Magnavox would be on the device, I will not be smarter!
