Toshiba REGZA 42HL167 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review
Acquired in December 2007, and it was money well spent. My wife wanted to upgrade from our 35 "tube. If I had not, but I'm glad I went. I had seen LCD with friends and relatives houses, and was convinced that this is not much better than what we had. Now, this is certainly true.
The picture quality on HD channels is amazing. My wife does not want to drive to watch sports, now visible only to see still photos.
The sound is a bit 'worse than what wewas in our cathode ray tube televisions, but I knew that to go when I want really good sound for a film or the music we do is our surround sound and it ends well.
If you're one of these can, at a discount to old to be found, you will not be disappointed.
