Philips 42PFL7422D/37 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review
I studied many 42 "1080p HDTV before buying this. Was my decision, that between Phillips and LG 42LG50. I went with this because it was cheaper, had all the same features and many good reviews. I'm not disappointed . TV is attractive and high quality materials. view is great from every angle. Both the SD and HD TV photo is amazing.
I adjusted the factory settings a bit 'photos:
Contrast 100
Brightness 53
Solid 0
Focus 4
Custom color temperature
R-WP 96
G-117 WP
B-WP 94

The TV also has a fantastic image Stretchng feature that the aspect ratio automatically depending on what you're in shape, the image is neverlooks out of proportion, very nice.
In response to other reviews, I have not found any problems with the image, the sound is nothing great, but I have sound through my stereo receiver, then do not use the TV speakers. the TV remote control turns off the TV completely, Standby is not a problem. The light sensor adjusts the image to the light in the room, very nice feature. I upgraded the firmware via the USB port, no problem.
Two of my friends pay twice as much for theirSony and I feel good. Highly recommended.
