LG 42LD520 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Review
Can people who can afford to call a TV .. $ 2,500 alias videophile, but I love it. For 95% of the population of this should be more than enough. After months of shopping around and do homework, I went against the grain and decided to try the LG. Purchased this set Walmart store site. It 'was $ 70 more than the model LD450 on the shelf. But the wait is worth it in my eyes a little extra for another week and for them. The more HDMI port alone justifies'$$$$.
Crisp picture! Bright. The color is deep! Pops off the screen when in HD. Nothing in 480 (standard) provides that, but good. Remember. First, struggled with adjustments. After some adjustments to the cinema mode, all it took. Looks good (maybe better) than the comparable Sony and Samsung.
A tip … I saw one of the 450 models on a shelf … which is basically the same image with some feature less. He seemed close to a terribleSony. Huh? THOUGHTS:
intelligent sensor is useless. Makes the picture WAY too dark. Perhaps it would be good if they are not as conservative with energy conservation. I managed to achieve a saving of electricity to 100% pulling the plug, but what would be the point? TruMotion = much ado about nothing. It adds nothing to the vast experience and in many cases, will only make things worse. Fortunately it is easy to disable. Sound could be better. Meh! After the speaker on the back was a bad idea. Aesthetics aside .. they should have done. But I always have home theater system soon anyway. So is a bit 'of something for me.

BOTTOM LINE:
This TV is great! You can not go wrong …. as said … for money. If you are looking for something better …. To wait one or two years for the next generation of LED-backlit devices for mainstream success at a reasonable price. But I can honestly say that this device offers the best balance of all worlds. And 'Candy forNets !!!!!!!!!
