The bulb can be acquired online. I removed my old TVfirst light bulb and housing, and search the product code is printed. There are two modes, bulb pear and sold only in a new case. # # The old bulb in the housing slides on the back of the TV, simply by removing some screws with a screwdriver. If you buy just the bulb, remove the old lamp from their existing housing and replace with new lamp. We had to do just that with our TV. Mind you, our TV is on 12 hours a day on average. We use the hell out of him. Ipaid less than $ 140.00 for the lamp with UPS Blue Label 2 days # # included. I think that is not bad for a perfect upright image quality.
