Samsung LN46B750 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color Review

Okay, I only had this TV for about 1-2 weeks so that will write a first impression. I'm going Westinghouse TX-42F430S 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV, I bought two years ago, so this is a big difference for me.

Image: This TV is beautiful. From 60 Hz to 240 was a big leap for me and many of my shows just look so much easier now. You can change these settings manually, although I did not have much. The contrast is crazy and colorsare bright and vivid. Are still being fine-tuning of colors for my taste, but I know I'll get soon. Side note: I usually use the THX Optimizer on TV and I tried with this TV and was not at all happy with the result. I felt that the default settings of the television were much better, apart from too bright and contrasted. I'll give it another shot soon with a friend so I have a second opinion.

Sound: Sound is one of the main reasons are the importance of thisTV 4 stars. The sound is crap. What you feel is certainly clear and fresh and better than my previous TV … You have not heard anything. For example, when I play Call of Duty on that TV, I need to keep the volume of about 15 (compared to 25-30 for watching TV counterpart). When I am in the game menu, I can barely hear anything (of music at the click of a menu), but if I got in the game of shooting and air support incredibly high. A film that I have the sameProblem. The TV does not throw well at all centers. However, I surround speakers come in the next week, so this is not a big problem for me.

Features: This TV has widget and Internet games and weird stuff. I honestly do not play much with them, but I'm sure someone would have liked. Between your phone and the laptop and the program to run my HTPC, I covered all my Internet functions had increased tenfold.

Browse Menu: easy and full of greatCharacteristics. This is a game mode that I really appreciated for online gaming. Seems to lower the image quality and speeds up the refresh rate a bit '… Personally, I do not see much difference in picture quality, but I definitely notice the better refresh rate.

CONS:
- There are no picture-mode button. This is really annoying for me because I use a Harmony remote and would like a tab key to move from one mode picture to watch movies, play games or swap TV Generalobserved. All other Samsung TV, I found a "e.mode button, and do not understand why they got rid of. I also have a friend borrowed the remote control and each button on the remote works perfectly with my TV at the button picture-mode.
- Moreover, there is a button to playback mode. Nor is it a picture-mode menu in the Settings menu (why? Who knows). This is another thing that I click on the map for my remote control would be happy (although it would be easier, they belong inTV picture mode, then only one point to a card away), but not nuts. What is annoying that I read the description of a button [...], game mode on, yes, but it is not.
- Sound. I have already spoken on this floor.
- The screen is glossy. This is great for color photos … However, it certainly reflects some 'light on the TV every night. Need both films in each case without light, or the position of some low lights in a place whereTV does not reflect them.

So far, so my contribution on the TV (I can upgrade later, when changes my opinion). I bought it for stealing a box of Best Buy opened, so I'm very happy with him, despite a few drawbacks. I left the store with this TV and a guarantee of four years for a total of just over $ 1,100 including taxes. I am definitely very happy with the purchase. When I purchased for full price, I may have thought twice about some disadvantages.
