I bought this TV at B & H Photo for $ 70 less than the S series is available at Walmart and V-series has much more 'functions and the S series I am very happy happy with the picture quality, sound and other functions. I just saw a couple of action movies quickly noticed, did not report the blur of other brands of 60Hz TV. I am also surprised that the Digital Out (optical) and from the TV to my audio receiver, not only digital sound of DVD players, DirecTVReceiver and antenna to the roof, but it seems that the analog sound from a VCR, digital out (I had not foreseen all housing). The 4 HDMI connections are more than enough, as I do not expect to do more than 3 when using (with only two of that time). Picture quality for SD TV is good, but excellent HD. Have the capacity, the backlight to adjust the lighting in the room. Oh, and most pleasant … I have windows facing the TV (right behind me)and with a bright sun, I see no reflection on the screen (of course, worked under the bright light). It used to be a huge problem with my old tube TV, and I could not watch TV without my curtains drawn.
I love the lead TV channels off the air (if TV Guide takes in the signal code) … surprising. PAP / PIP only works when the input is a cable / antenna … therefore, is rather limited, but I just used PAP / PIP held two weeks after this television.
I still do not understand why this TV (4150) 4100 is cheaper, even if 4150 is to compare a longer warranty (18 months to 12 months). People say that the 4100 and 4150 "all" the same, are covered by warrantyLength … I do not know what exactly are the differences (if at all, apart from the length of warranty).
Unfortunately there is no description on the website of the 4150 model from Sony.
Overall I'm please to spend more than $ 130 Phillips 42 "TV I was seriously at Walmart. Sony V4150 has many other features and definitely much better picture and sound quality.
