Samsung UN40C6500 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV (Black) Review

After extensive research and analysis of a couple of games I've finally decided to UN40C6500. This is Samsung's Series 2010 C LED TV with Internet applications. Here are my views at that rate.

Aesthetics

This is to see a really nice TV. 1.1 mm thick, beautiful bezel with integrated controller, with chrome legs make this stand one way out. The set comes with a lanyard so you can hang on the wall like a painting.

Photos

The image of this seriesare beautiful. The picture is beautiful, deep, with excellent color reproduction and black levels. The light LED-backlit display is great, except for some problems of consistency in the corners, which can be seen with a black screen. During normal viewing, it is not obvious to me. The movement with the default settings is "video as" smooth, expect the same in one of 120Hz or 240Hz, but what is great about this series is that you can plan and smoothing dejudderingGranularity that I've never seen before. Standard Definition Television viewing is one of the best I've ever seen.

Sound

The sound of this series is on par with other similar groups, in other words, "bah." If you have an audiophile, you probably already have a sound system in this TV plug. Otherwise, you might consider a soundbar or a cheap surround speakers. But I have to take me for a while ', and I am satisfied with the standard configuration.

DeviceConnectivity

They are more concerned about the number of HDMI ports, this series has much less one quarter I wish it were a separate component and AV, but unfortunately they are connected, so in my situation, I can not my Wii and DVD players are connected simultaneously. It will not be a problem if I have a Blu-ray. There are also two USB ports for viewing videos, photos, and firmware updates.

Networking

With Ethernet only, it is necessarynearby, or take the wireless route. Samsung offers a USB dongle to create excessive access WiFi to your TV. I opted for a wireless bridge so you can combine both my TV and buy a Tivo with wireless-N speed without two separate (and expensive) wireless dongle.

Internet Apps

The application supports UN40C6500 Samsung and Yahoo Widgets. Samsung applications are large, and the support of Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, etc. The only thing is that Yahoo, AmazonStreaming video. There are good and growing selection of applications, Samsung, however, Skype is only for games of the Series 7 and later.

This set is also compatible DLNA for streaming from PCs and other devices. There are also "Anynet + feature content sharing and control that have not been tested.

Other Features

The only other item that I want to emphasize is the iPhone / Capacity iPad remote. I have no idea why the toutedAlso, why is fantastic. Inventory control at a distance is fine, but the free iOS Samsung Remote Access high due to a killer feature: QWERTY keyboard! The ability to capture user names and passwords, without the letters on a keyboard as nice run. Also, if you can not find the remote, you can only get in your pocket for your iPhone. Awesome!

Summary

Are you looking for a TV with a picture, decent sound, like Internet applications, areasonable price, this is the TV for you. In addition, Samsung has a history of high quality, should last a bit '.
